This document describes how the store works and is accurate on that. It is missing the trading entity, its registered address, the governing law, and the returns window, and it has not been reviewed by counsel. It must be completed before the store takes real money.
What is sold here
Two kinds of thing. Tools — Pings, the Compass and its charges — which are credited to your member account when your payment is confirmed. And goods — regalia and merchandise — which are made and posted to you.
Nothing sold here is a rank, an office, a standing, or a place in the hunt. A man may buy the artifact of a standing he already holds, or buy one for a man whose standing he vouches for. He may never buy the standing itself.
Nothing sold here is required to play or to win. Every member draws a free allotment each cycle, and purchased tools run into deliberate diminishing returns.
Eligibility
You must hold a member account in good standing to order. Some goods are offered only to men holding a particular standing; the store will tell you plainly when a thing is not offered to you, and why.
The Pedagogue’s Box is bought by a Pedagogue for the student he has vouched for, against an invitation he himself issued. It is never sold to the man who will wear it, and it is never a condition of admission.
Payment
Payment is taken by our payment processor on its own pages. We never see or hold your card details. Prices are shown in US dollars and are set by the kingdom; a price may differ between realms and may carry a time-limited reduction.
Your order is confirmed when the processor tells us the payment succeeded — not when your browser returns to this site. If you close the page mid-payment, nothing is lost.
Refunds
Where a refund is given, tools credited by that order are removed from the account again. Deeds already done with them stand.
